Thank you for visiting my website. I am a Professional Land Surveyor (LS 9117) in the State of California with more than 21 years of experience in land development. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Minor in Mathematics from the University of Washington (Go Dawgs!).
I am proud to be a fourth-generation San Diegan. My family moved to Seattle during my grade school years, where I spent much of my youth, and I still have family in both cities. After college, I returned to San Diego and discovered my passion for land surveying, a field that perfectly combines my love of the outdoors with my aptitude for mathematics.
In October 2004, I joined Walsh Engineering & Surveying, where I spent ten years gaining hands-on experience throughout San Diego County. As Survey Manager, I oversaw boundary resolutions, topographic mapping, and construction staking, developing a well-rounded understanding of every phase of private land development from planning through construction.
In September 2014, I partnered with Omega Engineering Consultants to form Omega Land Surveying, providing dedicated surveying support for their civil engineering projects. Over the following decade, I had the opportunity to lead teams and oversee projects across seventeen counties throughout California, expanding my experience well beyond San Diego.
In November 2025, I will transition from the private sector to the public sector, accepting a position as Senior Land Surveyor with the County of San Diego. This new role will allow me to continue applying my technical expertise while supporting public infrastructure, policy, and the professional standards that shape the surveying industry in California.
